CryptoRuble - The russian bitcoin
Russians are preparing to launch their digital currency, with the name CryptoRuble. The announcement was made by Vladimir Putin in a secret meeting from Moscova. The informations were related by Nikolay Nikiforov who gave us more informations about this digital currency.
We were waiting for a movement from the russians side, because they accorded a special attention in the last time for the blockchain technology. But, even if they launch this digital currency, doesn't mean that they will agree with other digital currency, as Bitcoin or Ethereum, this two being criticized by Vladimir Putin in the last period.
The CryptoRuble will be released just by russian authorities and it can be changed with normal currencies. The idea behind this digital currency seems to be the stimulation of economy growth without the help of local monetary markets or the help of brokers.
The value of a Bitcoin is almost 6.000 dolars, but the value fluctuated a lot in the last time, due to the measures taken at international level, mainly in China. At the moment of writing the value of Bitcoin is 5.577 dolars.
